Oltre ad aver interpretato tutte e tre le stagioni di The Inbetweeners per la televisione, Emily ha lavorato in Doctors, MI HIGH, The Invisibles, Doc Martin e Trial and Retribution e, per il cinema, in My Piece of the Pie. Ha recitato insieme a Noel Fielding in I Spit on Your Rave, il film di zombie con la più grande partecipazione di massa. In teatro Emily ha fatto tour in tutto il Regno Unito con la produzione della National Theatre, An Inspector Calls. Il suo prossimo film sarà Third Floor at Trafalgar 2, diretto da Russell Labey.
